Game Drive — Private Reserve
A game drive in a private game reserve is a morning or afternoon outing of about three hours.
The experience
A game drive in a private game reserve is a morning or afternoon outing of about three hours. Because private reserves limit the number of vehicles, drives tend to be quieter and more flexible than in the national park: the guide can stay with a sighting for as long as it is interesting and take you off the main track.
Typical sightings include elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, antelope and, with luck, predators. Morning drives suit photographers and bird-lovers; afternoon drives are often finished with a sundowner stop.
Good to know: The National Parks fee of US$5 per person is charged in addition to the price. Timings, meeting points and what to wear are confirmed in your booking voucher.

No. The price is per person and excludes the National Parks fee of US$5 per person for this activity, which is added to your booking.
What should I bring?+
We suggest: Neutral-coloured clothing; Camera and binoculars; Hat and sunscreen; A warm layer for the early morning.
Are there age, weight or health limits?+
Many Victoria Falls activities have minimum ages and weight or fitness limits for safety. Tell us the ages and any health conditions of everyone in your group when you book, and we will confirm what is possible.
What if the weather or river level changes?+
Safety decides. Weather and river levels can change what can run on the day, and your operator will tell you if your booking is affected and what the options are.
